The savings gained by the larger form factor which proved to be irresistable to you and me might also do the same for many laptop manufacturers. And by the way, if anybody is not aware of pricewatch.com it is a great place to check for prices and perhaps even degree of availabilty of hard drives and all other computer equipment. current prices include: Fujitsu 3.5UDMA $186 Bigfoot 4.3 $205 The new JTS drives have not shown up there yet. --Scott
