I won't vouch for the drawing you linked, but it does appear to make sense, that net energy comes in near the equator, while net energy is radiated back more near the poles. The earth is not flat, unlike that great French scientists who made an ass of himself assumed in his equations while trying to show that AGW couldn't possibly be true. LOL!. So we can assume you are not making that mistake. Excellent!

Unfortunately, as the poles loose their ice for more of the year, the little blue thingies on your graph get smaller, and the red thingy in the middle gets wider. Which is one of the issues scientists are concerned about with global warming. What point were you trying to misunderstand with your graph?
