(NYSE:GDC) today announced that its GDC APEX(R) ATM switches will be used as part of a $3.78 million project to develop one of the largest wide area ATM networks in Latin America. Petrobras, a leading Brazilian petroleum company, will migrate its existing national network to ATM with the installation of 27 GDC APEX-NPX switches in 26 different sites. Comunicacoes Processamento e Mecanismos de Automacao Ltda., (CPM), a systems integrator based in Alphaville, Barueri, SP, will implement the installation and maintenance of Petrobras' ATM network.
