Karim, I think you are making a rash assumption concerning
royalties to WIND from the Intel FLASH Card. My take, in the
absense of hard facts, would be that Intel made a one-time
payment for this work. If there is a royalty, I think it would
be very small. The technical work involved here is minute
compared to IxWorks, etc., so I just can't get comfortable
with the idea that there are BIG bucks in this for WIND. Don't
misunderstand me - I think the whole area of flash memory is
exploding, but I just don't see that the work required from WIND
in this effort would justify a large pay-back. The most
interesting thing to me is that Intel went to WIND for this
work, rather that doing it in-house, or contracting RADISYS.
