"the markets have pretty much discounted their impact on the economy" I don't think "the markets" have any more of a clue than most of the rest of us what will unfold due to this in the coming year. As for Bush's announced bailout - have YOU looked at the details? It's a stillborn failure. Do you REALLY think that BUSH will save us? My GLD & SLV is up nicely today too. We'll just have to make our bets and agree to disagree..
