Tesla perfected ac for Edison and went on to tap into the ionosphere where he could draw down infinite amounts of electricity. Here's a picture of a "Tesla tower"in Colorado:



Had to be torn down by the authorities. It was too effective and would have ruined the private electric generating industry dominated by J.P. Morgan et. al.

Do a little searching, Tesla is worth it. He's responsible for a lot of stuff we take for granted.
