We suspended the insurance on our 17 years old's car for the winter, because of the weather. It's a really nice older car, and we put it in storage. One of the requirements for suspending the insurance, is you need to report the mileage. I talked to the insurance company this afternoon and started the process.

Tonight while Kevin, the 11 year old, was at basketball practice, I went to where the car is stored, so I could find out the mileage. I picked Kevin up afterwards and he ask me what I did while he at basketball. I told him I did some grocery shopping and then "I got the mileage off of Michael's car." He quickly ask, "how did you do that." I simply explained that I drove to the other house, went out in the garage, opened the car door, and wrote down the mileage.
He was like, Mom, that's not what I thought you meant. I was thinking you took the mileage off of Michael's car. Then I was thinking, that's illegal!!
