All that preventive care costs. Just as critical care costs. All health care costs. From a strictly cost perspective, the cheapest route is no health care at all. Duh. The next cheapest route is pay as you go. The next cheapest route is private subscription to HMOs. Beyond that, it starts getting pricey.
