Dec 7 (Reuters) - Biotechnology company Discovery Laboratories Inc (DSCO.O: Quote, Profile, Research) plans to sell 10 million common shares to institutional investors at $2.50 each, about 18 percent discount to their closing price Thursday. The company would raise $25 million from the direct offering, which is expected to close on Dec. 12, it said in a statement.
