Jay-
I don't know any percent numbers on Japanese business, but the 10qs have often included among standard forward-looking disclaimers that SVG hasn't penetrated deeply into the Pacific/Asia markets and needs to do so. I don't know how SVGI's thermco and track divisions are doing in Japan. It would surprise me if lithography division has sold any equipment there - this being to dominant presence of Nikon and Canon on their home turf, and to the fact that SVGL has not been the size to supply anywhere near the number of customers that Nikon has done in the past.

From most recent 10q:
The Company's customers are heavily concentrated in the United States and Europe. The Japanese and Pacific Rim markets (including fabrication plants located in other parts of the world which are operated by Japanese and Pacific Rim semiconductor manufacturers) represent a substantial portion of the overall market for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Further, in many instances, Japanese and Pacific Rim semiconductor manufacturers fabricate devices such as DRAMs, with potentially different economic cycles than those affecting the sales of devices manufactured by the majority of the Company's U.S. and European customers. To date neither the Company's shipments into Japan nor into the Pacific Rim have been significant.
