We invade Iraq and Iran gives up WMD

That means Bush scared two countries into giving up their nuclear programmes - Libya and Iran.

THE nation's spies re-assessed the Iran situation. Instead of Iran being on the verge of splitting the atom - as everyone in the world assumed - Iran gave it up in 2003.

Sen. Robert C. Byrd, D-W.Va., immediately seized upon this as an example of President Bush's incompetence, blah, blah, blah

Let's see........we invaded Iraq in March. At first things were going well but by Fall, we were encountering problems. The Iranians gave up their nuclear efforts near the end of the 2003. Makes sense......the US was encountering problems and they didn't want to make things any more difficult then they already were.

The good news is we don't have to invade Iran and we can bring the troops home........

Although it is funny how Bush hasn't pointed out that his invasion of Iraq was so effective, it made Iran give up its nuclear ambitions. I guess they haven't gotten around to spinning things yet.

In any case, the war should be over soon! Good news!
