I wasn't aware anyone was continuing the Nancy strip. It's been very modernized, which I suppose was necessary. It sure didn't remind me of the old Ernie Bushmiller strip.

Made me think back a few years when the "little Orphan Annie" strip got modernized. They changed the name to "Annie" and gave her a more grown up and mod look. The strip soon disappeared and I don't know if it's still continued today, but would guess not.

That's why old standards like Blondie are still around. It doesn't look a great deal different now than it did 30 years ago when Chic Young was illustrating it.

Even Dick Tracy still looks like he did 30+ years ago, although the story line has been kept up to date. Sorry about the OT divergence.
