When I first moved to Seattle from Washington, DC area in 1988, things were a bit slower in the PNW than they are now. We found that our "Eastern Ways" did not sit well with some people. We'd get in a crowd and instead of going with the flow, would find ourselves bobbing weaving to get through, and sometimes heard muttered comments about "pushy east coasters" (not that we were actually pushing anyone). We eventually slowed down, and now we complain about the "Pushy Californians."

Any word on the status of your riverbed property?
