SGI is cutting costs!! Finally! That is the sivler lining here. McCracken's posture seems to suggests he ain't resigning yet but he sure sees the writing on the wall. So in his last stand has asked SGI to CUT the FAT asap. As soon as the October 23rd earning release and as late as October 29th annual shareholder meeting specific measures are going to be announced. What will they do : Cut unprofitable projects, revamp marketing, and heck maybe even hire a CFO! IMHO the reason they're having so much trouble hiring a decent CFO is that Top quality candidates do not wanna be hired by McCracken! They all know his days are numbered and who wants to be the minister of a falling regime? In any case IMO the cost cuttings are good and should help the bottom line especially since there seems to be an urgency about it at SGI!
