12/7/07 update
The Charity Contest's penultimate week was a decent one for biotechs. At Friday's close, the NBI was up 9.42% YTD (vs. up 8.51% YTD a week ago), while the Charity Contest portfolios' median loss was cut to -16.63% YTD (vs. down -18.37% YTD a week ago).
Also, at week's end, the number of Contest portfolios in the black YTD doubled from 2 of 31 to 4 of 31. However, TECHNET's portfolio (up 18.9% YTD) is still alone in beating the NBI.
