Darrell, You don't have to tell me about Syquest. I could drone on for hours about their weak financials, massive share dilution, questionable management, treatment of shareholders, customer service, history of losses, missed expectations, misleading press releases, etc. etc. (and I have, on the Syquest thread for the last year and a half).

I continue to believe that Syquest is a very poor investment choice, however it is a great trading stock from time to time. BTW, even though I believe the SparQ rumors, I'm currently long IOM because of the Zip, not the Jaz.

In any case, if Syquest can come up with a SparQ, Iomega with its extensive resources can probably do the same or better.

I do believe however that it would be a mistake to totally disregard the SparQ and its potential impact on Iomega.

Regards - Dale
