Dan, I agree, since early July the stock has run up from about 23 to 45. Now what has happened is that Adtran has announced new products this quarter. But, what one must consider is that bringing new products to market is usually followed by a significant lag period before any profits are brought in by those new products. Since Adtran has announced these new products there will be no time to realize gains until 4Q. That means that the cost of bringing new products to market will weigh against 3Q profits. This is another bad sign. Those with smart money know this, that why it's a P & D. Ed
