No talk of Hatton v Mayweather? Very entertaining. On the one hand, Hatton just kept pushing the action. On the other, he seemed to continually be holding. I was switching back and forth between the American and British broadcasts and, oddly, HBO had Hatton ahead in the early rounds while the Brits had Hatton actually taking a pounding. The three scorecards all had Mayweather way ahead (I think something like 89-81).

The big question now is whether Mayweather's "retirement" is going to last as long as he says. My guess is that, if he's smart, he'll wait until the money is there for another big showdown fight. Just fighting some of the other welterweights, while good boxing, probably won't be great sellers and worth the risk.
