I never said I wanted to control the free flow of oil. Rather, I'd like for the gov't to recover in tax revenues the cost of fighting wars over oil. Or barring that, at least repeal tax subsidies over big oil. As far as tax cutting not needing to be paid for, you are clearly a product of the under-education of this generation. So let me get this straight. How many months or years do you think you can go on spending more than you earn, before banks refuse to lend you more money, you are kicked out of your home, and you live on the streets? Our country's budget deficits have real consequences. Maybe today's Republicans should spend more time listening in school and less time trying to bamboozle the public with their lack of sound fiscal policy.
