Well, you may doubt it. But even Alan Bubbleman has referred to the so-called conundrum.

In the light of soaring commodities prices and steep increases in consumer prices (not as measured by BLS, but as experienced by people in real life), one of the explanations is foreign central banks keeping LT rates low.

Other explanations exist, like the Fed itself buying LT bonds thru offshore entities, but if true, those make the picture even worse, not better.
