Hi Gustave, Last night on CNBC,Bill Seidmann made exactly that point. He said the old S&L debacle which was bailed out by the RTC was much more severe. Main reason was, we had farmed out the problem globally through the collateralization of mortgages and other SIV's. He thought this truth would make the housing bust less problematic and shorter in duration. Those who leveraged these CDO's are those in the worst problem. Does any know how these products could be leveraged? I just don't understand this capability? TIA Bob
