General Bearings was in the New America page after it was highlighted in VV. See in September issues.
En Pointe Technologies was also. As are others.
The Featured Company page is also good. They have been highlighting a lot of oil stocks lately in IBD. They are already in a run-up anticipating good earnings reports. In addition to the company highlighted, look at the table that lists the stocks in the same industry group as the featured company. There are usually good ones in there as well.
