I work in drug research and development... Just out of curiosity, does this put you in the camp with the large pharma companies that generally oppose homeopathic "do it yourself" types of treatment? I take 3 prescriptions and know without them I'd be in trouble. However, I also refuse to take a statin. By doing some alternative "things" I have my total cholesterol in the area of 220, with very good HDL and triglyceride readings. I would take fewer Rx but have proven to myself, so far at least, that doesn't work for me.
