Thank you. Since I posted the recipe here I've made several batches and everyone has raved about them. Not sure if I mentioned that I bought the baking powder at the health food store so as to not have any sodium in it. If you notice mixes, you'll see higher sodium which I believe is in part due to the baking powder.

I bought a box of 6 cornish hens at Sam's and I think they were probably under $2 each. Anyway, when I got them home I noticed they were organic. I made one for us and my husband said the meat was the most moist piece of meat that he could remember having.

If you can come across this book think you might like it. I got it at a used book store and it is basically making your own mixes, etc. without having all those additives, etc.. The book is:
