There is a 100% chance, that Adobe will not acquire MACR. MACR is wasting a lot of time developing products like Extreme 3D, Xres and Keygrip, that will never get real market share competing with Adobe's Photoshop and Premiere. You get these products free, when you buy Director or Freehand.

There is another California based company that could tie up with MACR: Quickly growing Metacreations (MCRE). MCRE stock rocketed up more than 100% during the last 4 months. Metacreations' highly developed 3D and imaging products (Bryce, Soap, Painter, PSP-Filters, Infini 4D) are a perfect match with Director, Freehand and Flash and could help MACR to get rid of dead mead in its portfolio.Indeed most devolopers use the products of both companies.

MCRE has a slightly smaller market capitalization than MACR but is aggressively growing. Little fish eats big fish ? Wait and see...
