Misery loves company. I have been so painfree and healthy for almost 60 years, except for my arthritic fingers in the past few years which bothered me only if I played the piano for longer than 4-6 hours in a day, that this pain took me by surprise. It is a comfort to hear how many of us are dealing with joint pain- makes me feel a little less angry and scared. This last week's episode seems to have gotten a little better, though it is still painful when I twist wrong. I will try to make myself walk, I was walking LESS because it hurt. I have never really felt OLD until this. Pain definitely makes you think about your body and aging.
