A.M,

From Keiko's " Bad Bugs Book "

I'm sure our resident Doctor will straighten me out on the small spiral shaped bacterium that lives in the Stomach called H.Pylori.

From my understanding these little buggers are safely ensconced in our Stomach mucosa with little danger of migrating to ones Grey matter.

As for the market of these rapid diagnostic tests, I'm not sure if we will be " Burping or Belching " at the investment opportunities !!
Besides QDEL's rapid tests the field is getting rather 'crowded' as last time I checked there were several new entrants including one of the big boys....Smith Kline diagnostics...( Flexsure )

helico.com

Helisal also has a test:

cortecs.com

others would include....HD Corp.....Chemtrak... Cortecs ( Boehringer Mannheim )

Orion Diagnostica...Biomerica.....TRIBY.....(Trinity now has H.Pylori tests in three separate formats ) including Uni-Gold
