Just read that nextel had to forgo 900 MHz licenses before nextel
could buy Mototola's 800 MHz dispatch radio properties. Maybe
that's why nextel needs to participate in the next auction (RCR).
But I still thought that nextel got some licenses in the last auction,
maybe they had to forgo 900 licenses that overlapped too much.

This motorola buy is interesting, maybe nextel will use 800 MHz
primarily and use the 900 MHz to move others: or visa versa.
This must have to do with getting contiguous channels?

Does anyone know what frequencies and channels nextel owns or
how to find out? I'd like to try to figure out what their plan is.
