I find all this discussion about Mitt Romney's religion perplexing

My view: Apparently there isn't any other big issues to be raised, by the media or his competition, regarding his candidacy. He answered the abortion so-called flip flop issue. He was a decent governor. He knows business. He is a true family man, unlike clinton, guiliani and perhaps others. He speaks well. And he looks good in his expensive suit.

I think his weakness is immigration. Of course the bulk of candidates on both sides are weak on this topic.

I think the liberal party fears him as a candidate because he could beat any of their top three. And they can always hammer away at the weaknesses of guiliani, thompson, huckabee and mccain should any othis group get the GOP nod.

I have wondered whether much of the conversation about Mormonism isn't generated by supporters of huckabee to get people off the topic of Baptist ministers.

Personally, I don't want any preacher or priest in charge of this country or our military.
