Duh. Past and present are different, not 'nuance'. Wish you would learn a new word.

but anyone talking about his or her experiences as a member of a CC really shouldn't be accusing others of an "I got mine" mentality.

The fact that I'm doing OK doesn't make me want to exclude others from improving their lot. The implication of the "I've got mine" attitude is the second part which is "so go F yourself".

After all, I sure don't see much gratitude for your circumstances in your posts, and when I see it, it's usually in the context of telling me that I should be grateful.

I'm very grateful. A slug like me probably couldn't make it in most countries.

What arrogance. The very definition of a liberal elitist.
