I'm not aware of any bad news. I think the stock is just a traders' plaything, which makes it very volatile. As I recall, the volume on the especially bad day was on the low side. Also, FWIW, I tried to buy some after hours at a bargain price, and only managed to get 12 shares (didn't make it AON), so the $12 commission I paid added about a buck a share!
