I agree that Calif. most likely has a significant potential amount of revenue fro Y2K problems however how much will flow to Z???
The State of Calif. has a specific Master Service Agreement (MSA) which allows both the state and local governments to purchase off this agreement. Term and conditions have been previously agreed to via a bid process.
Below I have listed the firms that have been approved for the MSA.
The only one that I recognize that has a relationship with S/MD would be Viasoft via answer.era or something like that. I do not have the time to look it up. Additionally, there may be other firms in the lists below that have an association with Z/MD and I ask for assistance in this. If there are, they are not the biggies and I expect Calif. to award contracts to the biggies on the list.
