Aaron, I agree, NPIX has NO value proposition.

However, I don't agree that bigger is better. It is almost always the case that a focused, dedicated group of engineers can produce a better product than any big company and get to market faster. However, if a small company trys to play marketting games with the big boys they will get creamed every time. There is just to much scope for a large company to distroy the profitability of the small guy. The only solution is to be in the accounts where the big guy cant compete. You can either rely on better technology or make your name at the low margin end of the business. I dont see NPIX aiming at either of these markets instead they want to convince the world that they are the next Cisco and disserve the same price as Cisco for a given function. IMHO Cisco will kill these guys.

As with all things only time will tell who is correct.
