You know, I kind of agree with you.

I suspect there isn't much government can do. But the problem is, when 7 billion people start executing their "personal plans", things will get ... difficult. Resettling 100 million Bangladeshis in Kansas could ruffle some feathers ;}

If anything saves us it will be technological innovations. Not Kyoto (or similar fiat).
