We're all flawed human beings. In Ike's case, perhaps fatally flawed. When Ike and Tina were inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, Ike was in prison. Tina graciously accepted the award on both their behalf. It seems she has forgiven him.

I'd like to remember him as a great artist who left us a truly all-American song, among other accomplishments.

I've had the James Cotton version of Rocket 88 in my head since yesterday, I better go hear that again. :)
