We all have our own fits of insanity. I checked out 2 Barney displays in Nashville last nite. Toys R Us has Barney under glass with buttons on the outside to activate the 4 main functions. Peeekaboo, sing a song, play a game , and wake up. The display wasn't bad and it worked well. No PC connection though. They did have the 3 supplemental SEVL cd roms (they have Microsoft on the front of the box, very small SEVL logo on the back). Computer City (chain) had the same type of display plus a Barney hooked up to the computer for anyone to try but there was some sort of problem. You couldn't find the CD program to run. Maybe it was a work in progress. Both stores had the 3 SEVL cds available. The displays looked new and well stocked. I couldn't make a sales judgement. The big deal will be the Tamagotchi CD. It's gotta happen on time to get the stock into the 5 range for more than week.
