What? You think fish farms in China fouled by toxic waste are going to contribute to global warming? Or do you think that because I reject the whole "Global Warming" political movement as a gigantic fraud that I don't want clean water, food and air?

Clean water and sewers are ideas that are only about 150 years old. And fascinate me. "The Ghost Map: The Story of London's Most Terrifying Epidemic" is a terrific book that I just finished. John Snow and the removal of the Broad Street pump handle is a key event in the history of mankind.

If we would quit trying to restrict the carbon output of Industry and spend the same amount of time and money cleaning up the world's water and sewer supply we would really accomplish something for mankind.
