It really doesn't matter if Global Warming is something to be concerned about or not. There has been a vast over reaction by both sides of the political debate.

My not-so-humble considered view, is that GW is something to monitor closely, and yes keep looking at the models and the theory. Politically, the extremists on both sides of the GW debate are like the local tough guys in town. Give them some room and time and they will nullify each other leaving normal people and scientists to get on with their lives. Scientifically, the CO2 component of the atmosphere and the global average temperature need plenty of research. The ocean sea levels rises could also be a problem, unless everything changes in a nice predictable linear fashion, and there is little reason to believe that will happen.

What is very clear though, is our environment needs plenty of care and attention on a global scale. The GW debate and Bali are keeping things focused very nicely.

Congratulations on the Bush teams success at Bali.
