You connected evangelicals to merchants playing Christmas songs more than you like. As for evanglicals complaints against merchants, those that have been published in recent years have centered on 1) not allowing the Salvation Army to collect donations in front of their stores and 2) avoiding the use of Christmas as a term. They see both as examples of liberal political correctness.

According to the CIA, the number of Christians in this country is roughly 76%. It may be higher in the red states but the evangelicals do not limit their complaints to the red states.....they want more Christianity in the public's view everywhere. I wouldn't have a problem if they confined their whining to their own states.

Ironic from an anti-Christian bigot who was just whining about hearing Christmas songs. No one is forcing you or anyone else to accept Christianity or to celebrate Christmas. Your distaste at seeing others do so is pure bad-hearted intolerance.

What disturbs me is that the religious right is never happy.

Studies show that conservatives and religious people are happier, enjoy better physical and mental health, and are more charitable.

And I think they won't be happy until we have a Christian theocracy.

A false canard to justify your hatred and intolerance. The number of dominionists is tiny.
