Though I am tempted to editorially alter your last comment, I will agree with, and expound upon, your basic sentiment. The Democrat and Republican parties are flip sides of the same base (corrupt) coin. With elective district gerrymandering and all, both parties enjoy the protection of the incumbent, who then sells out to the highest (usually bank/corporate) bidder to fill the re-election coffers to ensure a lifetime sinecure. The best testimonial for Ron Paul is that, truthfully, the Republican party hates his Libertarian ass as much and more than do the Democrats!!! The ultimate testimonial! I suspect he and Tom Coburn (Senator, R-OK) are the only national politicians not bought and paid for by the bankster/corporate money machine.
