From what I can see that is the opinion of an unnamed blogger.

And what you post here is your opinion. Whether the facts or opinions are useful or in any way valid depends on the facts and opinions, not the person presenting them.

And in this case the important facts are backed up by further links to government sites detailing the program and to studies of the issue the blogger presents.

This is from a private insurers lobby group with some vague statements.

The facts don't change just because you don't like the people presenting them. And many of the statements are specific not vague.

That is right. It may not be close to 25%. It could be more.

No its considerably less for the reasons laid out in those links.

In fact if you include the indirect costs its possible that the difference is in the other direction.
