I gave this further thought and no you don't have room for more nuts without cutting back elsewhere. This comes dangerously close to overflowing when it starts baking. In fact I forgot to add on the recipe to leave excess crust over the top and let it hang down the outside to insure you don't get shrinkage and leaking over the top of the crust. After baking I just trim it even with the top with a serrated knife. Also put it on a baking sheet in the oven just in case. Let me know how you liked it. It's a pre diabetics worst nightmare but for a treat every now and again I just go for it:)
