No we dont; we have two parties sharing the opportunity to rape and pillage the majority who have clearly rejected the parties by not participating despite the ever increasing monies spent on the message.

That is the missing information, and until its understood your deluding yourselves.

Look the 08 election campaign started last year....sheesh all of us voters and non voters alike are within earshot of the message, and yet the statistical majority clearly rejects the message, the output of the parties, statistics prove it.

The data are what they are, the parties are surrounded by persons whose sense of entitlement does not extend to looting thier neighbors property & limiting their lives outcomes. So the parties willingness to continue its combined largess, speaks to the character of those doing the looting, not the looted.

Get that message and you might grow up beyond the borders of your understanding.

Of course both parties love this situation. They are firm in their momentum to carve unto themselves benefits.....its fundamental self interest and the pie they are carving on, is free to not reward them as they have in the past.

How when and where are the only issues.

SO, the parties can go about their business rationalizing the true character of being elected by hiding or ignoring the missing information.
