It's pretty clear we don't have the same respect or understanding of capitalism and free markets.

IMO, despite the handful of "real" problems than can occur in the short term, IMO capitalism and free markets are far and away the best system for improving standards of living for the greatest number of people at the fastest rate over the long term. Virtually any interference in the short term causes a greater net negative in the long term.

Most of the problems blamed on free markets and capitalism are actually the result of interference in markets by people that don't understand them, people that dislike them or feel guilty because some people do better than others, thieves and other slime that should be jailed as criminals, and/or people that aren't blessed with an ability to understand them.
