Sorry, my attempt at sarcasm didn't "take". However, I do think there is a valid point in the discussion. Why is anyone who feels President Bush has failed as a conservative automtically called a "lib" by people on this thread? On everything from spending to immigration to intrusion in personal privacy to foreign intervention this President acts more like a traditional "lib" than most libs....If someone wants a return to balanced budgets, lowered spending, strong immigration policies, no new big unfunded government programs...why are THEY the "libs"?

Did the neocons highjack the teerm "conservative" and redefine it as big-government, interventionist?
