Well this may only be cute for football fans. My Daughter is home from college. I had an extra ticket to a Chargers Football game and invited her to go. Now When she was 9 I asked her If she wanted me to take her to football games. I told her that I would be happy to take her but at $100 a ticket I only wanted to do so if she REALLY wanted to go. She replied," you know daddy I think I can miss those football games."

Well my father and nephew were also going to the game so I thought it was also a chance for them to catch up. This however did not go over well with my boys. They are rabid Charger fans and felt that my daughter didnt deserve to go to the game.

So I put my daughter to a test. "Name one charger football player".

she said, "uh...Tom Wilson" "Who?" we all asked. "you know, Tom Wilson" (there is no Tom Wilson on the Chargers team). The boys yelled out See! See!. Then she said, "Well how about that really short quarterback we have". "Doug Flutie?", I asked. "yea him". "UMmm.. he left like 5 years ago dear". "Wait theres that TOML SON guy!" The boys are now rolling on the floor laughing. Missprouncing our best player (LaDainian Tomlinson), MVP for the league last year, future hall of famer was just to much. I told her it would be alot easier if she would just call him L.T.

Then one of the boys let slip the name, Phil Rivers. She perks up, Yeah PHIL RIVERS, I remember him!. I asked, "OK what position does he play?". Hmmm, "Well I know he doesnt play quarterback......." (yes, he plays quarterback)

I took her anyway.....
