interesting and true...the connection between the american independence and the repression of ireland. bear in mind ..two colonies of brittian ,populated by peoples of the same stirp....two very different outcomes. in the 1770s many pro colonialists in england were also pushing for home rule in ireland. america was in a way the anti ireland ps scotland is seeking independance....again
