With the democrats taking their lead from the far left and leaning more and more towards socialism, pacifism and a couple of other isms in there, I'm wondering why the Republicans haven't done the same thing and borrowed from the far right. There's plenty of libertarian ideas that would fit the Reps quite nicely. If the Republicans only embraced a few libertarian ideas it could go a long way to breathing some life in the party. Both parties seem kind of stale to me.
