Considering that Texas ranks almost at the bottom on spending, that is a pretty dumb statement.

I am a lifelong resident. I think I know more people.

That he did. However, it doesn't mean they thought his stint as governor was a smashing success.

When the bills come due from his stint as president, no doubt the bloom will come off that rose too...
