Well, I did as you suggested and looked at OSII, RETX, and CSCO. (You still seem to be intent on making ME do the research for YOUR assertions, which I resent, and I don't intend to continue to respond unless you present some support in the form of URL's or references to documents I can find -- talk is cheap). It looks to me like OSII and RETX together have yearly revenues less than Sun's backlog, so I don't see them as being especially significant. I also don't see anything in the news cataloged at Yahoo for CSCO that supports your assertion, so you'll have to be more specific (the only thing I saw that remotely supported you was a dip in earnings, but revenues continued to rise and the dip seemed to be related to extraordinary items rather than an industry slowdown). See:
biz.yahoo.com

On the other hand, the following article seems to say just the opposite of what you suggest:
biz.yahoo.com
"The telecom equipment sector is seeing continued benefits from solid capital expenditures by customers, said Tripp Rudisill, an analyst with Raymond James."

JMHO, as always.
